Race to Beat Hunger Virtual Ride
Save the Children Philippines, together with Takbo.ph, is launching #RacetoBeatHungerPH, a virtual ride and run experience to raise awareness and support Save the Children’s efforts against child hunger and malnutrition in the Philippines.
Funds raised through this event will help provide ingredients for healthy meals for children; critical equipment like Body Mass Index (BMI) calculators, Mid-Upper Arm Circumference (MUAC) tapes, and child length mats; and training sessions so that parents and caregivers can properly use them.
Childhood is one of the most precious chapters of our lives, one that is treasured and enjoyed while it lasts. But since the pandemic, more and more children are robbed of the gifts of youth because of hunger and malnutrition. This is a Virtual Ride. The distance is not to be completed in just one ride. Instead, you can cycle/bike a few kilometers in a day from January 1 to February 15, 2022 until you complete the target distance .
