Save the Children Philippines, together with Takbo.ph, is launching #RacetoBeatHungerPH, a virtual ride and run experience to raise awareness and support Save the Children’s efforts against child hunger and malnutrition in the Philippines.
Funds raised through this event will help provide ingredients for healthy meals for children; critical equipment like Body Mass Index (BMI) calculators, Mid-Upper Arm Circumference (MUAC) tapes, and child length mats; and training sessions so that parents and caregivers can properly use them.
Childhood is one of the most precious chapters of our lives, one that is treasured and enjoyed while it lasts. But since the pandemic, more and more children are robbed of the gifts of youth because of hunger and malnutrition. Register for Race to #SaveTheChildrenFromHunger today to do what you love and help along the way.

Our wildlife is integral to the balance of nature. To keep it healthy and thriving, humans must continuously raise awareness on species biodiversity and support programs that fight against wildlife crime. It is the only way we can collectively help protect the world’s economically, culturally, and ecologically important species.
Takbo.Ph, together with World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Philippines, will be launching a wildlife-themed virtual ride and run experience entitled, “At Home for A Home: Move for Biodiversity” which will run from October 2020 – July 2021. This virtual event is a four-part series which aims to raise awareness on the multitude of benefits that wildlife conservation brings to nature, as well as highlight four endangered species, namely the Tamaraw, the Sea Turtle, the Whale Shark, and the Panda.
Anyone can register and join the following virtual races:
Race to Save Tamaraws – October 2020
Race for the Wild: Seas the Day (Sea Turtle) – January 2021
Race for the Wild: Marine-a-thon (Whaleshark) – April 2021
Race for the Wild: (Panda) – July 2021
Through your participation, we can help WWF-Philippines continue conserving native species while keeping our land and seascapes thriving and productive.
