Magiting Virtual Ride 2021

The Magiting Virtual Ride is part of the “Maging Magiting” Campaign initiative of the Ayala Foundation. Maging Magiting campaign aims to promote love of country by highlighting the importance of our national symbols and honoring the virtues that are uniquely Filipino.

Sign up to complete a total mileage of either 60KM, 150KM, 300KM or 500KM. Then, run anytime and anywhere between April 1 to May 15. Once you reach your running goal, you get the Magiting Shirt, Finisher Medal and Facemask.

This is a Virtual Ride. The distance is not to be completed in just one ride. Instead, you can cycle/bike a few kilometers in a day from April 1 to May 15, 2021 until you complete the target distance .

STEP 2: Pay for the registration fee

STEP 3: Upload payment slip and Update your profile

Upload the deposit slip and update your profile in your TAKBO.PH VIRTUAL RACE account to include the following

  • Full Name
  • Shipping Address
  • Mobile Number
  • Race details: Category | Shirt size | Payment method

IMPORTANT: Make sure to double check your DISTANCE CATEGORY AND SHIRT SIZE as we do not allow changes.

STEP 4: Track and record your ride session

You can use any FREE biking/cycling app from your Android or iOS smartphone. Strava, Zwift, Map My Ride and Cyclemeter are some of the common apps that can be used. Other apps are also OK. Just take a screenshot of your ride and upload it to your profile or account.

If you are using a GPS watch like Garmin, Suunto and others, you can take a photo of your watch and upload it.

If you are using a fitness band like Fitbit, Fossil Q, Jawbone, Mi Band, Apple Watch, Samsung Gear and others, we recommend submitting a screenshot of its partner app since it has a more complete data.

If you bike on a indoor/stationary bike, you can take a photo of the dashboard and upload it to your profile or account.

STEP 5: Upload your ride session

Upload the photo or screenshot of your ride session to your TAKBO.PH VIRTUAL RACE account.

Our moderators will review and verify your ride session before they will be credited to your total mileage.

IMPORTANT: Be sure to follow the time format (HH:MM:SS) and that the screenshot/photo has BOTH the distance and the duration of the ride. Otherwise, your submission will not be valid.

Our moderator may reject your ride submission if the time format is incorrect or the screenshot has missing details.

FINISHER ENTITLEMENT

Complete your target distance to earn these finishers entitlements. Your entitlements will be delivered to your address after the end of the virtual race. See Delivery FAQs
